  Kamal Afarmach, Business development Asia at RVO

Kamal Afarmach works for the Dutch enterprise agency (RVO). He is a Business development coach for Asia and a programme manager for the regulation Partners for International Business (PIB). The sector account creative industry is part of his portfolio.  Kamal advises Dutch companies that have the ambition to do business abroad or that are already operating internationally. He will talk about programmes and regulations of the RVO that aid in doing business internationally.

  Host: Mark Oldengarm, Network coordinator BNA

Mark Oldengarm is a network coordinator and program manager sustainability at the Royal Institute of Dutch Architects (BNA). He facilitates the development and sharing of knowledge for the members of the BNA and organises numerous large and small meetings and support networks. Next to that he is a member of local council in the city of Zwolle.

Floris Beemster, Liaison Deutschland at FDCI/embassy BER

Floris Beemster studied theology (philosophy of religion) in Amsterdam and Berlin. Since 2005 he specialised in developing international relations by connecting government, business and knowledge institutes. His main focus became Dutch-German relations. For the last 3,5 years Floris has worked for the city of Amsterdam on location at the city of Berlin and the Dutch Embassy to connect on urban en economic topics. He coordinated the trade and knowledge mission to Bavaria, concerning Creative Industries, Urban Mobility and Health for the Utrecht Region and Amsterdam Trade. Currently he is the liaison in Germany for the Utrecht-Amsterdam Region and Creative Holland.


Host: Jasper Kraaijeveld, Policy advisor BNA

Jasper is policy advisor market & entrepreneurship at the Royal Institute of Dutch Architects (BNA) / Private sector secretary to the Dutch Creative Council & Topteam Creative Industries. Before that he worked as strategic communication advisor entrepreneurship & innovation at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Eline van den Berg, business developer & supply chain innovator

Within her widespread experience in Germany, Scandinavia (both focus regions of BNA International) and North-America, Eline has been a consultant and manager in business development and innovation. Her current work at the cooperative Royal Flora Holland has many parallels with Dutch architects and the professionals within Creative #olland. Both are perceived as internationally renown Dutch brands. But at the same time the propositions of architects and flower sellers are facing new international competitors and the need for technological development.

Be inspired by Eline’s experience, talk with her about lessons learned and best practices, and learn how one of the most well known Dutch brands dares to leave establish paths in order to innovate and keep growing internationally.

  Host: Katelijne Prinsenberg, Office Chef BNA

Katelijne Prinsenberg is Office Chef of the Royal Institute of Dutch Architects (BNA). She coordinates all organisational units of the company for example BNA Academy, BNA International and BNA Research. Prior to working at BNA, she fulfilled several management positions such as P&O Manager for the Dutch Rheumatism fund.
